Voluptas a.k.a Island Sweet Skunk has been grown on Vancouver Island for decades and was originally bred by Next Generation Seed Company. Island Sweet Skunk is a descendant of Skunk #1. Outside of the Pacific Northwest this strain can still be difficult to track down. The Voluptas is a dazzling strain that looks exactly what you’d expect a strain commonly known as Island Sweet Skunk to look like! This tropical radiant looking strain offers loose fluffy, perfectly cone shaped buds that are a vibrant lime green, with long blazing tangerine colored hairs that burst out from the lime green swirling in spectacular contrast to create a strain that looks like it should have come from a caribbean island.

What does it smell like?
The Voluptas fragrance engulfs the senses, transporting one to a tropical hawaiian island with notes of grapefruit, mango and pineapple. These tropical citrus notes are diversified by undertones of a dank earthy skunk scent (not unpleasant) and a slight pungent pine aroma at the end.
What does it taste like?
The Voluptas has a sweet and sugary taste, reminiscent of fresh fruit and flowers on a pleasant, calm summer day. The scrumptious and an utterly remarkable taste profile of tropical fruits, close to a sour grapefruit flavour, mix perfectly on the pallet with the skunkier herbal flavours this strain also exhibits in minimal strength to create a remarkably outlandishly good tasting strain.
*Use and Effects:
The effects of the Voluptas come on hard and fast! A cozy cloud of euphoric happiness and creative awe wraps itself around the user, leaving one feeling warm and fuzzy. The cloud this strain puts the user on allows sound to come in clearer and colours to appear more vibrant! The effects are very much cerebral which then work its way through the body. This perky upbeat high allows positive thoughts to sore with libido boosting properties to take effect. Once the user has enjoyed the first 45 minutes or so of this high, they will be left with a colossal appetite. Due to the headiness of this strain, new users and individuals prone to anxiety should use lower amounts of this perky herb. I have consumed this strain through a number of methods – through a water pipe, joint and a home and portable vapourizer unit; all of which worked; however this strain did deliver the best taste and uplifting, labido boosting medicinal effects through the vaporizer.
